“By a vote of 51 to 49, the Senate just refused to subpoena witnesses in this impeachment trial. I’ve never heard of a trial where you don’t have witnesses. This is a sad day in American history.

Despite the absolute failure of Republicans to put country above all else, the fact still remains that Trump is one of three presidents in United States history to have been impeached by congress — Andrew Johnson, Bill Clinton and Donald Trump. That cannot be undone. That will forever be with him.

Trump’s corrupt, shady and illegal business practices go back as far as the 70s and 80s. He has never been an upstanding, honorable businessman. He has a well documented history of not paying contractors and employees, discrimination, stealing from his own charities, and since the 1970s at least 25 women have come forth to accuse Trump of rape and sexual misconduct.

On September 11th, 2001, mere hours after thousands lost their lives due to the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, he unapologetically claimed he then had the tallest building in New York City.

There are zero kind words to say about a person that boasts “unity” and “patriotism”, but has a disgusting history of sexism, homophobia, xenophobia and racism, and has told over 16,000 lies or untruths to the American people since taking office.

Trump is simply a con-man, an egotist, an opportunist, and one of the shittiest humans alive. He will forever be known as not one of the worst presidents in modern history, but the worst president in American history.
